Company History
New England Expansion Strategies was founded by Owner and President Rod Jané in 2007. Prior to founding NEES, Rod spent 20 years in the private sector in senior management positions with General Mills, Duracraft, and Honeywell, where he managed several large expansion and consolidation projects. In 2005, Governor Romney appointed Rod as Executive Director of the Massachusetts Office of Business Development, where he spent the next two years managing the Commonwealth's premier economic development agency dramatically improving its performance in job creation, job retention, and private investment. Although asked to stay on as Undersecretary of Business Development by Governor Patrick, Rod returned to the private sector in 2007 where he founded New England Expansion Strategies.
